Langenpac's history begins in the early 1950's when H.J. Langen opened
a facility specialised in the manufacture and sales of processing
machinery for the meat industry in the Nijmegen area in The
Netherlands, Europe. In 1956 the two oldest sons of H.J. Langen, Ron
and Jack emigrated to Canada where they soon became known for
innovation and customers requested that they expand their product
offering to include cartoning machinery. The introduction of this
product line was so successful that cartoning equipment became the
predominant product for Langen Packaging in Canada.
In 1988, members of the Langen family decided to go back to their roots in The Netherlands and established a joint venture together with Langen Packaging Inc, and called it Langenpac NV.
In the town of Wijchen a new factory was built for Langenpac, from which the European market would be locally served with machines based on European standards.
Over the years Langenpac has become a leader in the design and manufacture of not only cartoning equipment but also became an expert in case packers, accumulators and system integration.
We believe in working with our customers every step of the way from project conception to execution, and afterwards, providing responsive support and service.
